Ciao! The helicopter lifts off from Nakalilok Bay with fishermen heading back to King Salmon, then on to home.
SAFARI camp is definitely further off the grid and more logistically challenged than OUTPOST camp. And transporting people, gear and supplies to/from our most remote Alaska Peninsula fishing camp can be challenging during crummy weather, and expensive any day of the week.
We utilize specialized aircraft, like the Bell Jet Ranger helicopter above and fixed-wing bush plane, that are adapted to flying in remote areas and landing on gravel airstrips… our remote “airports” are not exactly what you’re used to back home, but that’s life if you want to experience true Alaska wilderness fishing.
